Yep, we'll get to rock it out to our favorite Beatles tunes come 9-9-09. According to the official statements, The Beatles: Rock Band will be a software-only sale -- good news to penny pinchers. And an even better news to console splurgers: Rock Band will be selling exclusive hardware guitars modeled after the rock stars' own gear themselves.

Since the Beatles have a massive repertoire, they can only squeeze in about 45 songs in The Beatles: Rock Band. Circa '62-'69 to be exact.

After Metallica, we have this. What other bands would you want to see in Rock Band? My vote goes to U2 :D

This really is an interesting game to play. is it like guitar hero?

Yes, but a full band set-up. You'll need to get the guitar, mic, and drum peripherals. Up to 4 players (singer, drummer, bass, and lead guitar). It's awesome :D

The Beatles is actually Rock Band's very first expansion.
