Who here plays Mabinogi?
If you don't know what it is, it's a game made by Nexon. It's a client based game that you download and then play online (so it's easy to mod as well, because their support isn't that great). It's sort of like WoW, but mostly free.

It has just about everything you wanna know about Mabinogi there ^_^
You can also purchase pets, for about an average of say $10 each. You can ride them, fly them, use them as extra bank space, use them to help you gather herbs and stuff, assist you in combat etc.
But other than that, the game is practically free.. except with premium, you get the assistance of a chick called Nao (she can revive you and gives you gifts etc.) and double bank space. You start off with a premium account until you reach level 30.
I recommend anybody play it if they like WoW, RuneScape, Perfect World International etc.

Beginner's Guide
You go on quests, build levels, make money, hunt creatures, learn skills, explore uncharted lands, do part time jobs, goto school, explore dungeons, fight monster bosses, engage in aerial combat, visit the shadow realm, cook, tailor, alchemise, make potions, learn magic, catch fish, have campfires, smith weapons and armor, farm, do archery, have pets, travel through moon gates and mana tunnels, and best of all they have a manual combat system. Instead of just clicking on a monster and attacking it like runescape, you have different style attacks which trump other style attacks.. so..
There's normal attack, which trumps the smash skill.
There's the smash skill which trumps defense skill, but uses stamina.
There's the defense skill which trumps normal attack.
There's the counter skill which trumps normal attack and smash, but drains stamina.
There's the windmill skill (like swinging your sword 360 degrees) which trumps counter.
Then you can use magic (and range with a bow/crossbow), to attack somebody who's using counter or defense, but you need to have a good 'sharp mind' skill to see what skill the opponent is using at the time.
Then there's the critical hit skill, which happens randomly, and lets you hit twice as hard.

Heh, I love the strategy. If you don't use strategy you will be knocked unconscious pretty fast.
