In all honesty I was never a big shooter fan. Always liked sports, platform and racing games but I have enjoyed such classics like

Project X - (Commodore Amiga)
R-Type - (Megadrive)
Battle Squadron - (Commodore Amiga)
Operation Wolf - (Arcade)
Fantasy Zone II - (Sega Master System)

Never played Counterstrike thingy but I can say without doubt COD 4 and Modern Warfare 2 are the best shooters I have ever played. I have not played a shooter as much as MW2 so I would have to say this is the greatest ever shooter ever.

CS gets boring once you have hit 12 - 13 years of playing..
Atm, Bad Company 2.. The best game out and I don't think it's multi player will be beaten any time soon.

Yeah really cs is old game and many gamers are bored of it but how can i say it old but gold :) I know many other shooters that are great too there is no doubt about CoD great game.

Time Crisis 3 is pretty fun on the PS2 as well if you have a gun to use.
